I am having it now again for the third or fourth time, and this time, it tastes better after adding salt, grated cheese and hot sauce. It probably is a sauce true to italian marina as I believe I see chunks of carrots and this is what is called for in my Italian cookbook. And perhaps I have gotten too used to the strong tomato flavor in other sauces, but I'm rating it mediocre due to the general lack of flavor.
